Essential Job Duties:

• LeadAccount Managers/Business Services team responsible for developing employer relationships and a network with community agencies to support participants as they come through the program to gain employment and long-term career opportunities
• Coach, train, and mentor individual Account Managers/Business Services staff
• Ensure the Account Managers/Business Services team meets weekly and monthly targets
• Work with Case Workers/Career Coaches and Project Management to ensure Account Managers/Business Services team is aligned with the goals and objectives of the Program
• Lead by example, is out in front of large, medium, and small employer organizations.
• Meet with employers, identify employer’s job opportunities, and define job requirements, and match participant to open job opportunities.
• Creative and able to leverage multiple marketing vehicles including: Job Fairs, Job Club, seminars, training, create fliers and brochures, etc.
• Identify areas for staff development and provide staff training
• Resolve project issues in coordination with project staff and other community agencies
• Track team performance and reporting
• Run/facilitate team meetingsPerform other duties as assigned by leadership

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, preferred field of study in Human Services, Business or Employment
• At least (2) years or more in a sales or business development management position preferably with a staffing sales, recruiting organization or workforce services job development. Experience in human services-centered organization
• Ability to work with businesses to identify hiring needs and fulfilling openings with participants
• Knowledge of the local business community to be served
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage and achieve hiring metrics targets
• Ability to manage a team, work within a team as well as work independently
• Excellent people management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle pressure and perform multiple tasks
• Proven ability to work with community group

 Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolve project issues in coordination with project staff, client office staff and other community agencies.
- Conduct public speaking and education of community agencies and local office staff; participate in community health fairs; and perform group presentations and activities related to promoting the project.
- Report issues, problems, and concerns to the Asst. Outreach Manager.
- Oversee efforts of Outreach Client Service Representatives.
- Maintain professionalism in presenting oneself as a MAXIMUS staff person and a promoter of the program.
- Distribute program materials to community groups.
- Meet and exceed the established performance objectives.

Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, including ensuring non-exempt employees get the rest & meal breaks.
- Comply with all company required policies, procedures and processes including but not limited to required training.
- Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
- A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit.
- Generally supervises semi-skilled employees or a few individual professional contributors.
- Works on issues of limited scope.
- Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.
- Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility.
- Frequently interacts with subordinate employees and functional peer groups.
- Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations concerning specific projects or schedules.
- Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
- Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.

- Develop work schedules and assign duties to subordinates to ensure efficiency.
- Evaluate subordinates' job performance and recommend appropriate personnel action.
- Discuss job performance concerns with subordinates to identify causes and issues and works closely with the Human Resources department on resolving problems.
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for subordinates.
