What You Will Do:

Attain is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to help run our 24x7 SOC. The position will involve managing a complex team as well as content creation, such as Splunk ES alerts.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage a 24X7 Team
Create custom correlation rules and detection rules
Manage daily SOC operations
Reporting and briefing

Required Skills:
Must have experience working in SOC environments and have a strong understanding of SOC playbooks and operations.
Must have experience with correlation rule creation
Must be able to brief high level officials
Must be able to mentor a young team and develop people and processes.


Desired Skills:
At least one major scripting language
Splunk and Tanium experience

Active Secret Clearance required

 Job Summary

Required Skills:

- Excellent team leader/project management skills and experience.
- Experience managing SOC activities.
- Advanced knowledge in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees, vendors, and other organizations.
- Experience working in a SOC
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to design and implement effective policies to achieve consistent team results.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating shift schedules ensuring adequate coverage.
- Experience implementing monitoring tools and capabilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, leadership, team building, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong IR Skills
- Strong background in complex Scheduling
