Project Manager III oversees all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Analyzes new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provides analysis and long and short-range plans for necessary support resources. Commensurate experience and education for the specific level.

Project Specific Essential Job Duties:
•Adherence to program budget and Maximus financial targets
•Leadership oversight for project schedules, adherence to performance metrics, overall achievement of outcomes, results and deliverables to support the business in delivering the contract requirements.
•Ensure consistency and compliance with all company and program business rules as well as performance standards
•Client relationship management. Know and understand the client’s environment that enables the team to successfully deliver the client’s needs.
•Promote effective partnerships in a multi-contractor environment
•Lead and champion systems modernization while maintaining the legacy systems
•Facilitate effective data management and data sharing across a large stakeholder base
•Provide responsive customer service through the program help desk
•Maintain system security and data confidentiality standards
•Oversight for the continuity of operations as part of maintenance approach and modernization strategy
•Oversee the quality and timeliness of contractually-required reports and deliverables
•Participate with project and executive management to establish strategic plans, objectives, initiatives, and work plans
•Develop performance goals and objectives for senior managers. Work with program manager to develop performance goals for staff and monitor the achievement of those goals.
•Identify any potential problem areas, recommend solutions, and work closely and cooperatively with the client to resolve issues quickly and fairly
•Provide direction to team members and resolves problems in a timely and professional manner
•Facilitate communication on project status, to include applicable corrective and preventive actions to leadership
•Oversee Subcontractor performance, provide status reports and assessments internally
•Develop, modify and execute project policies, ensuring all project team members are in compliance
•Champions risk and issue management, and participates in mitigation and contingency actions to address the risks
•Perform other duties as assigned by the program manager
•Lead and manage the prioritization of changes and continuous improvement

Project Specific Education and Experience
•Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Specific requirements for this position include:
•Proven skill and experience in project management, managing people, project planning and coordination of daily activities, data analysis, constructive reporting, project management techniques and tools for a contract of similar size and complexity
•Demonstrated experience having authority and accountability for meeting all contract deliverables and requirements within budget and the use of appropriate tools to track project deliverables such as project plans, and timelines.
•Demonstrated experience and skills in excellent oral and written communication spanning executives to the general public.
•Proven skill and experience in critical-thinking, innovation, and problem-solving, recommending successful solutions, including the planning and implementation of such solutions.
•Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multiple Contractor environment.

- Oversee the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization- wide systems.
- Define and manage resource requirements and allocations.
- Develop and implement application programs.
- Manage operational leads on addressing issues relative to production and processing.
- Direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of project management experience.
- Delivers multiple small and large projects with high values and high risk.
- Provides leadership for the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget.
- Develops innovative methodologies, techniques, and criteria for projects.
- Advanced knowledge of workflows and project mapping.
- Facilitates the tracking and resolution of issues impacting projects.
