This role will support the Human Resources function across MAXIMUS performing administrative tasks on the phone, via email or chat. Candidates must be professional and pleasant with exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.


 Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ensures that all pertinent recruiting and onboarding documentation is accurate and ensure contract specific requirements and language are included in applicable offer letters.
- Initiates and monitors background investigations and contacts candidate when adverse information is found. Packages candidate’s background information and dialog for Adjudication team review and approval.
- Tracks drug screening offer acceptance and paperwork initiation.
- Ensures all pre-employment paperwork is completed before finalizing hire actions.
- Processes and updates all actions using our applicant tracking system.
- As needed, coordinates candidate follow-up actions with the local Recruiting and Human Resources staff.
- Responsible for the accurate reporting of employment-related data via Excel spreadsheets.
- Participates in audits to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Answers Human Resources Shared Services tickets and answers phone calls from Recruiters and Field HR staff.
- Maintains a high degree of accuracy and organization to minimize errors.
- Attends team meetings to share status of pending background checks.
- Assists Teammates with their workloads and acts as a team player.
- Evening and weekend work are required during peak periods.
 

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience.
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.

- Experience with Human Resources applications including Workday, iCIMS Applicant Tracking System and Deltek Time keeping is desired.

- Requires proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.

- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast pace environment.

- Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion in performance of all tasks.

- Requires good organizational, problem solving and time management skills.

- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work successfully both in a team environment and independently.

- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor especially during difficult and stressful situations.

- Work on assignments that are routine in nature, with responsibilities easily learned on the job.
- Acquire job skills and learns applicable policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
- Able to read, understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.
- Communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal & external contacts.
