Supervise the daily operations of a work group supporting QIC DME processing. Functions of operations include mail receiving, scanning, case creation, customer service, case closing, and letter dissemination.

  • Supervisory functions such as assignment and distribution of work, monitoring unit and individual timeliness and work quality; timekeeping and scheduling; performance management coaching and mentoring;  implement motivation and recognition to staff members to ensure retention needs.
  • Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations.
  • Work with the department to identify improvement opportunities with a focus on solutions to improve results as measured by Operations/Unit metrics and key performance measures.
  • Ensure staff training and technical procedures are providing needed results
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Health, Social Services or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and perform supervisory functions required of the job.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead.
  • Excellent communication skills-interpersonal, verbal and listening skills.
  • Analytical and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and understand needs of others.
  • Planning and organizing work and the work of others.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Work as a member of the management team as well as lead team efforts independently
  • Skills / Knowledge Preferred: Knowledge of Medicare regulations and statutes preferred. Durable Medical Equipment experience highly desirable
  • Three to five years’ experience as a supervisor in a business related field; such as call center, forms processing, health/ human services, customer service, or records management preferred
