Job Description

-Assists the Project Director with the day-to-day running of the core functional areas to ensure compliance with the prime contract, all subsequent amendments, program business rules, as well as, state and federal regulations.
-Assists the Project Director in his/her efforts to facilitate a functional, motivated, and cohesive project team.
-Ensures all outreach, education and enrollment services are effectively and efficiently delivered throughout client coverage area.
-Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships with the client and other key stakeholders including DOH employees, state agencies, counties, health plans, community agencies, stakeholders and subcontractors.
-Facilitates communication and resolution on all pertinent contract matters, operational changes, and applicable corrective and preventive actions.
-Directly supervises key Project staff as determined by the Project Director.
-Works with the Project Director to develop performance goals and objectives for the project and staff and monitors the achievement of those goals.
-Assists in the creation and implementation of innovative methodologies to continually streamline and improve project operations and outcomes.
-Ensures project stays within budget, meets its financial performance goals, and meets all agreed upon timelines and work plans.
-Works closely with members of the Senior Management team in support of performance objectives related to the Quality Management System.
-Ensures compliance with MAXIMUS standards and procedures for project operations.
-Meets all standards and performance criteria established for this position.
-Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Delivers a single large project or multiple smaller projects at the same time.
  • Makes informed decisions and ensures adherence to budgets.
  • Recommends innovative methodologies, techniques, and criteria for projects.
  • Knowledge of workflows and project mapping.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Communicates updates and project status effectively and efficiently.
