Job Description

The Document Processing Supervisor oversees all Document Processing activities, including incoming mail, outgoing mail, document scanning/imaging validation, and document routing. Provides direct supervision to Document Processing Staff.

 

Responsibilities
  1. Supervises all Document Processing activities, including incoming mail, outgoing mail, document scanning/imaging validation, and document routing.
  2. Assists Enrollment & Eligibility Manager in ensuring that waiver applications are processed efficiently and accurately.
  3. Provides direct supervision and assists with establishing performance goals and measurements for the Document Processing Admin Staff.
  4. Performs quality control and quality assurance reviews; maintains reports to track historical performance (both internal performance and subcontractor performance), and ensures compliance with performance standards.
  5. Assists with the development and implementation of procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the mailroom and forms processing.
  6. Provides direct supervision Assists with training of the Document Processing Staff with Mailroom, Imaging, and Forms Processors
  7. Performs quality monitoring of mailroom and document processing activities, including ensuring that Consumer information and addresses are correct on outgoing mail.
  8. Runs and distributes reports related to mailroom and document processing activity
  9. Improves performance and security by converting existing paper documents in to electronic format.
  10. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.


The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. At least two (2) years of provider enrollment experience or credentialing in a health care environment (i.e. healthcare facility, managed care setting, insurer, credentialing verification organization). Previous Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of all information. Ability to comply with current and updated policies and procedures. Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a diverse population. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time. Occasionally lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 25 pounds. Work is constantly performed in an office environment
