Job Description

Potential Remote Opportunity - This position applies a variety of training and communication strategies and materials to assist participating State VRs and ENs to achieve Program Competencies in a timely and effective manner. This position monitors assigned agency performance in program metrics, delivers support and facilitates capacity building for improved agency outcomes. This position also provides agency consulting services to develop provider enrollment, engagement and performance in accordance with client/contract requirments.

  • Gather, manipulate and use analytical tools to determine and report on performance results. Ensure data accuracy and create ad hoc reports
  • Organize and plan daily work using outcome-based criteria. Organize and prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a small-team leader, as needed
  • Serve as an informal leader to co-workers on designated special assignments, and act as a consultant in problem solving and analysis of processes, providing guidance and feedback to the Service Provider network
  • Resolve complex issues/problems and research and make recommendations for potential resolutions or modifications to issues for service providers to improve performance/activity. Assist in the preparation of management reports and perform a variety of complicated tasks
  • Make recommendations when issues or opportunities arise that may impact the Ticket Program financially or from a compliance perspective. Deliver relevant and timely trainings, workshops, briefings and presentations for ENs, VRs and other groups as requested by the Social Security Administration (Social Security)
  • Complete required outreach to service providers on a monthly basis and document appropriately. Support the plan to obtain Program Competencies and client goals. Actively participate in group meetings by contributing ideas, sharing responsibility and achieving contractual and sub-contractual metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in field of communications, journalism, English, public affairs, marketing and/or instructional systems
  • At least eight (8) years of professional experience in developing and implementing a variety of training/educational methods, communication strategies, materials, techniques, and tools required 

  • Experience and knowledge of e-learning technology and strategies

  • Experience in developing and delivering effective presentations for the public

  • Knowledge of data quality measurements methodology and reporting tools

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize data to improve and refine services to meet customer needs; excellent computer skills, including desktop publishing applications/graphics and reports design; excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Extensive knowledge of and direct experience working with a diverse universe of government, for-profit and not-for-profit service providers

  • Demonstrated record of achievement as a Ticket to Work Account Specialist

  • Working knowledge of the Ticket to Work policies and procedures governing the day-to-day operations of the program and considered a subject matter expert in an operational area per the Statement of Work requirement

  • Familiarity with governmental regulations governing the Ticket Program

  • Ability to pass a federal background check including, but not limited to, drug testing and Credit search of National Credit Bureaus

  • Preferred experience includes: SSI or SSDI policies and programs; familiarity with Employment Network (EN) sectors/markets, State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies and MAXIMUS TTWP regulations in regards to EN and VR rules, specifically the policies and business practices related to EN payment contract requirements and operations; strong history of communications, marketing and/or Ticket to Work customized materials development; proficiency and knowledge of Desktop Publisher software; previous use of SSA systems capabilities and reports
  • Some travel may be required
