Job Description

This position is located in Maine

-Acts as the primary contact for the state client
-Ensures that program operations are in compliance with all applicable requirements of the contract, as well as State and federal regulations.
-Ensure that goals and objectives are established that support the overall Project strategies.
-Oversee all project administrative operations including budget, financial controls, and human resources.
-Plans, develops and schedules priorities for achieving operational and performance goals.
-Reviews management, productivity, and financial reports and studies to ensure program objectives are met.
-Participates in internal audits, research studies, forecasts, and modeling exercises to support Project direction and guidance.
-Manages operational managers including performance appraisals, mentoring, and professional/development guidance.
-Demonstrate a high level of dedication and proactive leadership in meeting corporate goals and program objectives.
-Performs other duties as assigned by management.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
  • Oversees daily operations of MaineCare Disability Determination Services Program
  • Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods of the MaineCare Disability Determinations Services Program.
  • Ensures MaineCare Disability Determination Services Program is in compliance with all applicable statutes, regulations, and contractual requirements at all times
  • Serves as the State's point of contact regarding internal and external operations related to MaineCare Disability Determination Services
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
  • Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
  • Reports to Operations Director
