Job Description

The Outreach Supervisor is responsible for developing relationships with the community and staff to increase program awareness and achieve project goals.

  • Develop networks with community agencies and the local businesses
  • Conduct public speaking and education of community agencies and local office staff and performs group presentations and activities related to promoting the project
  • Distribute program materials to community groups
  • Oversee the efforts of Outreach Field Client Service Representatives
  • Identify areas for staff development and provide staff training
  • Resolve project issues in coordination with project staff and other community agencies
  • Monitor performance through observation and audits
  • Assign and oversee special projects
  • Coordinate program initiatives with the Outreach Manager and employees as necessary for completion of project operations
  • Organize resources, develop outreach plan, assign staff and monitor campaigns to carry out client requests related to policy changes or expansion or reduction of services
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, preferred field of study inn Human Services, Business or Employment
  • 2 years in a Supervisor or Management position with a human services-centered organization
  • Knowledge of the community to be served
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and perform multiple tasks
  • Proven ability to work with community group
